13 February 2026 – The Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center celebrated Valentine’s Day through a special activity led by Brigadier General Erickson L. Gob MC, Commander, AFPMC, and organized by the Morale and Welfare Section of Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, OH1. The celebration highlighted the Commander’s 100th day of assumption to office and his first Valentine’s Day celebration at AFPMC, where he emphasized that love extends beyond romantic expression and is reflected through Selfless service to patients.

AFPMC NEWS | Joint Change of Chief of Office Ceremony
11 February 2026 – The Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center (AFPMC) held a Joint Change of Chief of Office Ceremony for the Assistant Chief of Staff for Security, H2 and Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics, H4 at Camp Colonel Victoriano K. Luna, V. Luna Avenue, Quezon City. The ceremony was presided over by Captain Michael Anthony C. Ubaldo PN (GSC), Chief of Staff, AFPMC, marking the formal turnover of key staff positions to sustain operational effectiveness and leadership continuity. Colonel Rogel Al-Rahim L. Linzag MAC (GSC) relinquished his post as Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics, H4 to Major Eddie F. Dayag PA, who assumed the position as Acting ACS for Logistics, H4. Meanwhile, the outgoing Assistant Chief of Staff for Security, H2 relinquished the position to Commander Loyd D. C. Ayonayon PN (GSC).

9 February 2026 - The Health Surveillance and Epidemiology Unit (HSEU), AFPMC, conducted a Troops Information and Education session on Body Mass Index (BMI) and Lifestyle Risk Assessment under the leadership of Colonel Celeste Z. Francisco MC (GSC), Chief, HSEU. The activity was facilitated by Lieutenant Colonel Robert Leeh E. Pedragosa MC, Chief, Health Promotion and Preventive Branch at Camp Colonel Victoriano K. Luna, Quezon City. The activity was graced by Brigadier General Erickson L. Gob MC, Commander, AFPMC, highlighting the importance of preventive healthcare among personnel.
